We operate in Uganda and have worked in DR Congo, Sudan, and partner with regional centers across East Africa.

Key Activities

Understanding Cleft Lip and Palate

Cleft lip and palate are birth conditions in which a child is born with a gap in the upper lip or roof of the mouth. Without treatment, this can affect feeding, speech development, dental growth, and confidence.

Surgery can dramatically improve a child's ability to eat, speak, smile, and participate confidently in daily life.

This example shows how cleft lip repair closes the gap in the upper lip, supporting normal development and creating a more natural smile.
